At Jamestown Presbyterian Preschool, we believe in giving back to our community. This is something that we teach our students every day.
The children proudly bring in food donations for the church food pantry, put together shoe box packages at Christmas time and learn about the importance of recycling and protecting our environment. Please read below, about our newest mission!

Dear JPC Preschool Parents,
I am Joanne Vitelli, an elder here at JPC. I am heading up our “Feeding Lisa’s Kids” mission.
Each month we fill 150+ paper grocery bags with 7 or 8 breakfast items. These bags are taken to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church (WMUMC) in High Point by several of our member volunteers. WMUMC delivers the bags to families along with many other food items. The families who receive the bags are in true need.
Lisa Hawley, who owns Southern Roots in Jamestown, started this wonderful program several years ago with just a few families. She provides the other food items with the help of WMUMC.
I wanted you to know where the food items you so graciously bring to us go!
I have given April a list of the items we need for the next few months. Thank you so much for all you have given us in the past, and the future.
Sincerely, In Christ’s Name
Joanne Vitelli
